Salvation, the word, what does it mean to you?

Salvation, Salvational, Salvayshen, Salvationary… What is it all about?

I wrote a Trilogy series called Chosen, Directed, and Invited. (C.D.I)

In each book, the process of Salvation is covered, shared, and ultimately explained.

The biblical definition of Salvation means delivered, saved and or rescued.

Genesis 49:18 (First Occurrence) & 1 Samuel 11:13 #8668 is used for (Next Occurrence)

Hebrew Lexicon #3444 (saved, delivered) & #8668 (rescue)

3444. יְשׁוּעָה yshuw`ah yesh-oo'-aw

feminine passive participle of 03467; something saved, i.e. (abstractly) deliverance; hence, aid, victory, prosperity:--deliverance, health, help(-ing), salvation, save, saving (health), welfare.

8668. תְּשֻׁעָה tshuw`ah tesh-oo-aw'

or tshuah {tesh-oo-aw'}; from 07768 in the sense of 03467; rescue (literal or figurative, pers., national or spir.):-- deliverance, help, safety, salvation, victory.

Through my books, I formed a Mission Statement from the Salvational process.

C.D.I Mission Statement

One of the main descriptive words and phrases that is given in the Strong’s Concordance study for the book Chosen is:

“to obtain salvation through Jesus."

Trilogy Salvation Synopsis:

·        Everyone is Chosen to be drawn into God because we cannot pursue him; He seeks us first.

(Drawn: John 6:44) (Everyone: 2 Peter 3:9, 1 Timothy 2:4, John 3:16)

·        Everyone is gracefully Directed to Him in some way to receive the invitation.

(Romans 2:15, Revelation 3:20, Prov 16:9 & Prov 20:24)

·        Everyone is Invited to the Wedding of the Lamb to “obtain salvation through Jesus Christ.”

(John 3:16, Romans 5:6, Hebrews 2:9, 1 John 2:2)

I have learned through writing the Trilogy that there is a purpose on why He defined these terms this way and allowed for a gracious Salvation process. In this like manner, with my deepest sympathy I am really trying to convey that there is Hope, there is a Rescuer, and there is a process.
